Pie lovers who are looking for something new need look no further than South Street’s Magpie.
Just in time for summer’s heat, Magpie’s Holly Ricciardi is liquefying her inventory. That’s right—she’s decided to completely melt (and blend) down her fruit, cream and custard pies into 16 oz. pie milkshakes for customers to try while temperatures soar. All shakes are made using Magpie pies and Bassets vanilla ice cream. As shown above, they’re served in a Mason jar with a straw and a spoon.
Here’s Magpie’s pie milkshake lineup for April:
Apple Pie – $8.50
Chocolate Coffee Cinnamon Pecan – $8.00
Butterscotch Bourbon – $8.00
Coconut Cream – $8.00
Lemon Curd – $8.00
As the months go by, Ricciardi will be adding more sweet pies to her lineup and, of course, turning said pies into more pie milkshakes.
