New menu, the new Very Berry Spodee Pie and new hours! We have changed our menu over for the spring - Strawberry Rhubarb Crumb, Berry Lavender Crumb, Lime Basil, Banana Cream, Chocolate Cherry Meringue and the Very Berry Spodee Pie! Also, starting this Friday our we will be open late - till 11PM on Friday and Saturday and now opening at noon on Sunday till 7PM.
Starting May 1st - The Very Berry Spodee Pie! Made with Spodee - wine with a kick, the Very Berry Pie will be offered for the entire month of May. Try a slice or as a Pie Milkshake with an added shot of Spodee. Also, on Saturdays from 8 - 10, enjoy a nightcap - a slice of the Very Berry Pie and a complimentary glass of Spodee!

Pie lovers who are looking for something new need look no further than South Street’s Magpie.
Just in time for summer’s heat, Magpie’s Holly Ricciardi is liquefying her inventory. That’s right—she’s decided to completely melt (and blend) down her fruit, cream and custard pies into 16 oz. pie milkshakes for customers to try while temperatures soar. All shakes are made using Magpie pies and Bassets vanilla ice cream. As shown above, they’re served in a Mason jar with a straw and a spoon.
Here’s Magpie’s pie milkshake lineup for April:
Apple Pie – $8.50
Chocolate Coffee Cinnamon Pecan – $8.00
Butterscotch Bourbon – $8.00
Coconut Cream – $8.00
Lemon Curd – $8.00
As the months go by, Ricciardi will be adding more sweet pies to her lineup and, of course, turning said pies into more pie milkshakes.

Pie queen Holly Ricciardi is coming up on the one-year anniversary for her charming shop, Magpie (1622 South St.). If you haven't been yet, go, and try out the bakery's warm-weather creation: pie milkshakes. Part pie, part milkshake, these crust-flecked blends feature Bassets vanilla ice cream and Ricciardi's fruit and cream/custard pies for $8.50 and $8, respectively.

Enjoy your favorite slice of pie as a milkshake. We blend a whole slice of pie into Bassett's vanilla ice cream. You can use a straw, but we recommend a spoon to finish it off.

Shake it up. Pie is delicious enough. But can it be improved?
Holly Ricciardi, going into her first spring at her Magpie pie shop, is blending her fruit, cream and custard pies into 16-ounce milkshakes. She dips Bassetts vanilla ice cream, mashes in pie, blends on high and serves it in a Mason jar with a straw and a spoon. Apple is $8.50, while the other varieties offered in April - Chocolate Coffee Cinnamon Pecan, Butterscotch Bourbon, Coconut Cream and Lemon Curd - are $8.

It's getting warm outside...perfect time for new cooler things on our menu. Magpie is now offering Pie Milkshakes featuring your favorite slice of sweet pie.
